How we collect, use and protect your data — in plain language.
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Appointment Tools ("Appointment Tools", "we", "us" or "our"), a product operated by Snazzy in Ireland, handles personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or use our booking and business-management platform (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
Appointment Tools is the data controller for the personal data of our account holders (our customers) and website visitors. Where you use the Service to manage your own clients' bookings, you are the data controller for your clients' data and we act as your data processor. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), consent (for optional marketing and certain integrations), and legal obligation (for tax, accounting and compliance).
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it, including:
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, safety and property.
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to those obligations.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and secure hosting. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service, and limited analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
